Innovative Storytelling will Reign Supreme! Congrats to Abbott Elementary Cast!

We or I should say I, have been waiting for a new, fresh, comical show to hit the tv airwaves. It would only be a matter of time for ABC to green light Quinta Brunson's hilarious show Abbott Elementary. It is a mockumentary tv sitcom that focuses on Brunson's character as she navigates the teacher life in an underprivileged neighborhood in Philadelphia. Actors were perfectly cast as they each brought their unique personalities to screen, especially the incomprehensible principal played by Janelle James, an American Comedian, Writer, and Actress. Each episode focuses on real-life teacher/ school challenges, but infusing Quinta's quirky and innocent behavior makes the show even more enjoyable. Prime Time TV needed a savior as Streaming apps have dominated entertainment in recent years. I watched Abbott Elementary and was immediately hooked. That is the magic of fresh and creative storytelling, choosing the right actors, and presenting relatable circumstances while keeping the viewer entertained with masterfully written dialogue.

Sheryl lee ralph has been in the entertainment industry since 1977 and just won her first-time Emmy award. Upon her acceptance speech, she praises having a Quinta Brunson in her corner, a supportive husband, kids, and friends. It was the right moment for this dream girl to have one of her dreams come true - an Emmy Winner, and I couldn't be more excited. Quinta is also just getting started. I am excited to see what other creative projects she develops.

Stories can change the world, spark creativity, and bring Emmys to those most deserving. If you are a storyteller, think of how you can change the world or bring laughter through humor, and maybe one day, you will stand on stage as a dreamer/believer singing, "I am an endangered species….I am an artist, and I knoooowwww….where my voice belongs!" Congrats to Sheryl and Quinta on a performance well done in Abbott Elementary.
